Privacy Policy — Respun
Respun (“Respun,” “the App”) is a single-player merge puzzle game where you spin a well, avalanche blocks, and chain-merge them for combos. This policy explains what limited information the App handles.
Respun does not require an account or login, and does not ask for your name, email, phone number, or precise location.
Information Stored on Your Device
Respun saves your game progress and preferences locally on your device, including your best score, best combo, highest tile reached, sound settings, and your in-progress game. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
The App also generates a random device identifier (a one-time random ID created when you install the App) that is stored on your device. This identifier is not linked to your real-world identity and is not your hardware, phone, or advertising ID. It is used only to let you claim and keep a leaderboard name that is yours.
Online Leaderboard (Optional)
Respun includes an optional global leaderboard. If — and only if — you choose to submit a score, the App sends the following to our leaderboard service:
A display name that you choose (please do not enter your real name or any personal information)
Your score and the highest tile you reached
The random device identifier described above
This information is used solely to display and rank scores on the leaderboard. You can change your chosen leaderboard name at any time from within the App. If you never submit a score, none of this information is sent.
Third-Party Advertising
Respun uses Google AdMob to display optional rewarded advertisements. Google AdMob may collect and use certain information, such as device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data, in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy. This information is used solely for providing and improving advertising services.
Rewards and Virtual Currency
All rewards granted for viewing advertisements are virtual in-app credits used only within Respun. These credits have no real-world value and cannot be exchanged for real money, goods, or prizes.
Children’s Information
Respun is not directed toward children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the leaderboard name is chosen freely by the user, we ask that players not enter personal information as their name.
Data Sharing
Respun does not sell your data. Information is shared only as described above: with Google AdMob for advertising, and with our leaderboard service when you choose to submit a score.
User Choices
You may opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings or by visiting Google’s Ads Settings: https://adssettings.google.com
You may choose not to submit any scores, in which case no leaderboard information leaves your device.
Changes to This Policy
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
